Where You'll Stay
We don't work from a fixed list. Stays are chosen for each journey — a camp in the Sahara, a restored dar in a medina, a five-star hotel on the coast — and matched to the route and to how you like to travel.
Desert Camps
Nights under canvas in the Sahara — dinner cooked and served at long tables, rugs underfoot, and a sky with nothing in the way of it. Camps range from simple bivouacs on trek to permanent sites with proper beds and private bathrooms.
Guest Houses
Restored dars and family-run maisons d'hôtes — courtyards, tiled floors, a handful of rooms and someone who cooks breakfast. Usually the most characterful stay on a route, and the one guests remember.
Luxury Hotels
Five-star hotels and resorts on the coast, in the oases and in the capital — for travellers who want a pool, a spa and room service at the end of a long day among ruins.
